Wizard of Oz * themed Sniff & Go * Registration closes Jan 31st.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.  CHECK BACK FOR OUR NEXT EVENT. Join us to benefit  Puppy Pilots,  our local puppy raiser club for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Puppy raisers put in two years of training and socializing before a dog is a candidate for Guide Dog school.  Puppy Pilots uses donations to help with medical and other expenses.

Where:  The Gardiner Community Center (20 min east of Sequim WA)  980 Old Gardiner Rd Sequim WA

All funds minus site fee and photography will go to this wonderful organization. 


Lions Tigers or Bears?   Experience the journey (cross 5 start lines), face adversity (a mind blowing maize maze), conquer some fears (hang out with Glinda), garner that diploma (confidently call alert!) and triumph with your Toto (complimentary photos). We also supply element times for your team.      

Three groups will be running. ( NACSW rules apply.)  This is a Sniff and Go, you can leave after your run.  There will be an hour lunch break between Yellow Brick Road and Emerald City.  This is for fun! You can run blind or ask for help.  

1) Kansas = First group to run in the  morning. 1 hide each search/element.No distractors. Birch. $25

 2) Yellow Brick Road = Second group to run (before lunch break) 1-2 hides. No Distractors.     Birch/ Anise- $25    

  3) Emerald City = Will run after lunch break - 0-3 hides, Birch/Anise/Clove - $25

The following rules apply:                                                                                                              *Your dog is to remain secure in the car while waiting his/her turn.  *Red Bandana dog parking will be available (be aware-the parking lot is tight)  *Dogs are to be on a 6 ' length of leash while in parking lot. (you can use a long line, keep it at 6'.  No flexi or retractable leashes in the parking lot) *You must have control over your dog.    *Dogs are not allowed to search wearing a Prong, Choke,Halti, E Collar, Go Pro or any video equipment.  E Collars are not permitted on the property.                                                          

 *If you bring a dog that is not registered, it is to remain in the car.  Please sign a waiver for that dog when you check in. Only potty if needed when all dogs in a group have finished runs.  This is for liability, disease and safety reasons.               *If any team puts others in harms way by dog or handler actions, or cannot abide by the above rules, they may be asked to leave the property with no refund.

Include on the check or a separate piece of paper, your name, your dogs name, contact info (if not on the check, email or phone) and what level you are entering.  

CONFIRMATION of ENTRY will only be sent when entry fee is received.   Run information/directions etc,  will be sent before the event date.

Running two dogs in the same level?
You can choose which dog you want to run blind. Hides will not be moved for second runs.
Does your dog need space? *
If your dog needs space, you are responsible for supplying a Red Bandana or obvious red cloth for your dog to wear. Red Bandana dogs are taken into account when the run order is made.

Reminder-You will only receive confirmation email when we receive payment. You are not entered until payment is confirmed. No registration or payment will be accepted after registration closes.
Cancellation and Refund Policy *
All cancellations must be in writing and will be confirmed by return email. Your cancellation will not be valid without a written confirmation of receipt from SCC. *Full refund, minus $5 processing fee up to January 31st, 2018. *No refunds for cancelations after January 31st, 2018. Photography and Video Release *
From time to time, photos and videos may be taken of students/event participants and their dogs during private and group dog training classes, practice sessions, demos, presentations and events organized by Sea Change Canine LLC. Sea Change Canine LLC reserves the right to use these photos and videos for educational and marketing purposes, its website, presentations, etc. I hereby grant permission to Sea Change Canine LLC to use photos and videos of myself, my family and my guests as well as my dog(s) for the publications listed above. Liability Waiver *
I understand that attendance at a canine event is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend,or my dog,because some of the dogs to which I (we) will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury and /or damage even when handled with the greatest amount of care. I hereby waive,release,and agree to hold harmless, Sea Change Canine LLC and /or agents, staff or volunteers hereinafter referred to as "Organizers", for injury and /or damage which family,my guests or my dog may suffer,including,but not limited to, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog(s) during the event or on the facility grounds. In addition, I expressly assume the risk of such injury or damage while attending any event,any other function of Organizers, and /or while on the facility grounds or surrounding areas thereto. I hereby agree to indemnify, compensate, and hold harmless Organizers from any and all claims that may be asserted against them by any person(s) as a result of any action by me or my dog (s) that causes injury and /or damage.
